Obituary of Thomas F. Sheehan

Thomas F. Sheehan, age 69, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. He was born in Altoona, PA, was raised in Gallitzin PA, and had resided in Martinsville, NJ since 1984. Prior to his retirement in 1997, Tom was a Structural Supervisor for PATH. He was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church and an involved member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5959. Tom was an active member of the Martinsville Rescue Squad for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline Cronauer Sheehan; his son, Kevin Sheehan and his wife, Lynn of Nazareth, PA, his daughters, Karen Van Doren and her husband Bruce of North Plainfield and Kim Subasic and her husband, Frank of Clarks Summit, PA; his mother, Florence Sheehan; his brothers, Richard, Ray, Pat, Mike and Buddy Sheehan; his sisters, Joyce Krile, Kathy Krile and Jeannie Sral. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyle and Alexander Sheehan, Shannan Van Doren and Tyler, Cara and Jason Subasic. Funeral services will begin on Monday, November 7th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
