Obituary of Louis J. Giannotti

Louis J. Giannotti, age 90, died on Friday, February 10, 2012, at his home in Plainfield. Born in Plainfield, he was a lifelong resident. Prior to retiring as foreman in 1983, Louis was employed for 37 years with Elizabethtown Water Company in Plainfield. He was a WWII Army veteran. His loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy Giannotti predeceased him last month. Surviving are his son, Louis J. Giannotti, Jr.; daughters, Mary Ann Williams, Nancy Driscoll and Andrea McGarry and grandchildren, Stephen, Peter, Lauren, Allison, Kaitlyn, Matthew and Nicole. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 9:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a Mass at 10 am at St. Bernard's & St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Plainfield and interment at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
