Obituary of Vincent N. Ricco

Vincent N. "Vinnie" Ricco, age 70, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born and raised in Jersey City, he lived in Secaucus for thirty years before moving to Basking Ridge ten years ago. Vinnie owned a truck dealership in Linden prior to retiring. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Vinnie enjoyed hunting with his boys, gardening and keeping busy with work. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife Barbara A. (Gizzi) Ricco; sons Vinny and his wife Rosalie, Chris, Marc and his wife Lynne; his brother Richard Ricco; four grandchildren Vinnie, Vanessa, Christopher and Dominick. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
