Obituary of Thomas Michael Youmazzo

Secret meatball and salad dressing recipes lost forever. Italian food lovers lost a hero when Mr. Thomas Michael Youmazzo, 60, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He believed that life was to be lived. He used the world as his muse and took all of us on his journey. He was an expression of love and put his partner-in-life, Carmella, his children Jason, Jennifer, Gemma, family Gina, Bill, Fred, Pat, Cezanne, Andrea and friends first. Tom found pure joy in his Granddaughters-Alex, Bella and Adison; nephews, Nick, Tony, Tommy, Randy, Rob, Matt, Ben, Zach and niece, Amy. His crew (and you know who you are!) were dear to his heart and they lifted him to a higher plane. He was convinced that the Beatles would never make it and they ended his beloved doo-wop music. Tom was known for going ALL IN and enjoyed the rush of the dice. He spent his life making friends and bringing smiles. Who loves ya baby? In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Foundation Heart Transplant Fund, 201 Lyons Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, 07112 or online at www.newarkbethfoundation.org. Visitation is Friday, May 12, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 11:00 am preceded by viewing at 10:15 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth Street, Plainfield, NJ (908 756 0017) followed by private cremation.
