Obituary of Sophie Eleanor Golankiewicz

Sophie E. Babci (nee Polewka) Golankiewicz, Baptized into the Hope of Christs Resurrection, Tuesday, December 26, 2006; wife of the late Roman L. Golankiewicz; dear mother of Edwin (Marilyn) & Edward (Barbara) Golankiewicz & Janet (Ed) Eberhardt; sister of Jean Michalski, Mae Kaczmarz & Helen Warzocha; grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 18; dear aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt & friend. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Shrine of St. Joseph, 1050 Long Hill Road, Stirling. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 3 from 7-9 p.m. only in Higgins Funeral Home, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung. If desired, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
