Obituary of Sue Edelson

Ellin Sue Edelson, age 76, died on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Florida. Born in Brooklyn Mrs. Edelson had lived in Plainfield for many years and was active in Temple Beth El of Plainfield before moving to Florida in 1985. Prior to retirement she was a Dental Hygienist. She was a member of Congregation Shomrei Torah of Tallahassee, the Womens Club of Tallahassee and was the longest serving volunteer with Big Bend Hospice. Mrs. Edelson was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by her husband of 45 years David Edelson; her four sons Edward Edelson of Gladstone NJ; Kenneth Edelson and wife Tina of Stowe, PA; Ronald Edelson and wife Lisa of La Jolla, CA and Alan Edelson and wife Paula of Union Twp. NJ; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
