Obituary of Stanley A Savaryn

Martinsville: Stanley A. Savaryn, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at his home. Mr. Savaryn was born and raised South Bound Brook and had resided ever since in Martinsville. Mr. Savaryn served in the US Air Force in Korea. He was the purchasing manager for the Englehard Corporation in Iselin before retiring in 1993. Mr. Savaryn is a former communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the South Bound Brook American Legion, Post # 363. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Ruth Savaryn, two sons, Peter Savaryn and his wife Pamela and Joseph Savaryn and his wife Susan, two grandchildren, Ryan and James Savaryn, and two sisters, Francis and Katie. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 10:00 am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by an 11:00 am service at the funeral home. Cremation is private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-9pm.
