Obituary of Rosemary J. Kapsak

Rosemary J. Kapsak, age 65, died at her home in Watchung on Monday, December 15, 2008. Rosemary was born in New York City and spent her early years in South Plainfield before settling in Watchung in 1973. Rosemary was a devout Christian wife, mother and friend who was true to her faith every day of her life. She did not join many organizations and preferred anonymity for her many works of financial and spiritual generosity. Those who were fortunate to know her will remember her warmth, caring, compassion and selflessness. She never missed an opportunity to offer words of encouragement to anyone who needed them. Rosemary was predeceased by her son Christopher T. Kapsak and her parents Frank Raio and Mary Mele Raio. She is survived by her husband Thomas J. Kapsak, her son Daniel T. Kapsak and his wife Wendy, of St. Louis, Missouri. She was captivated by her grandson, Drew. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 9:00 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
