Obituary of Nicholas A. D'Angelo

Nicholas A. D'Angelo, age 84, died on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at his home in Waretown. Born and raised in Plainfield, he lived there until the age of 65 and most recently has resided in Waretown. Nicholas graduated Plainfield High School in 1947. He was a life member of the Martinsville VFW Post #6588. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received a Korean Service Medal with Bronze Campaign Star. He is predeceased by his sister, Anna Alba Cambletto. Surviving are his cousin, Rosemary "Ronnie" Nearlinger of Punta Gorda, FL and his niece, Angela Cambletto of Somerville, NJ. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. All attendees should meet at the cemetery office.
