Obituary of Frida K. Jorgensen

Frida Jorgensen, age 88, died on Monday, February 6, 2012 at her home in Watchung. Born in Oslo, Norway she immigrated with her family to the United States in 1950. She resided in Hillside and Union before moving to Watchung 4 years ago. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Morton Jorgensen in December of last year, her granddaughter, Eva Marie Machin-Heunermund in 2002 and a brother-in-law Helge Johansen in 2012. Surviving is her daughter Grete Machin and her husband Joseph of Watchung; a grandson Joseph Machin and his wife Nancy of Holland Twp.; great-grandsons Brandon and Aidan Machin of Holland Twp. and Steven and Joey Heunermund of Watchung; a sister Edith Johansen of New Port Richey, FL, 4 nieces and a nephew. Entombment will be on Tuesday, February 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
