Obituary of John Henry Parrott

John Henry Parrott, Jr., age 41, of Plainfield, NJ, died on Sunday September 2, 2012, at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. Born in Rahway, NJ, John was a lifelong Plainfield resident. Mr. Parrott worked as a signal technician for the City of Plainfield. John was a member of Vessels of Honor Worship Ministries in Elizabeth, NJ. He enjoyed motorcycles and especially loved riding with his father. John also enjoyed fishing, trains and cars. His greatest love was spending time with his wife and children. Surviving are his beloved wife, Evelyn Gonzalez-Parrott; his sons Jaylin E. and Jayson R. Parrott; his parents, John H. Parrott, Sr. and Gail, and his grandmother, Rose Mae Parrott. He is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012, at 12 noon at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th St., Plainfield, NJ 07060. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9 to 12 noon. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
