Obituary of Virginia Ann McKimm

Virginia A. (Nodes) McKimm, age 78, died on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born and raised in Somerville, she has resided with her daughter Cheryl and son-in-law Robert Quirk and their two children Alan and Ashley in Hillsborough for the past fifteen years. Prior to retiring Virginia had worked for Kmart in Hillsborough as a Health and Beauty Clerk. Virginia especially loved spending time with her family. Predeceased by her husband Gilbert J. McKimm in 1985. Surviving are her children William E. McKimm and his wife Cheryll Claiborne-McKimm of Overland Park, KS, Gilbert J. McKimm, Jr. of Saratoga Springs, NY, Valerie Massero and her husband Joe of Henryville, PA, Dawn Mack and her husband Mike of Hackettstown, NJ, Edward McKimm and his wife Monica of Union, NJ, Timothy J. McKimm, Sr. and his wife Lori of Warren, NJ and Cheryl Quirk and her husband Robert P. of Hillsborough, NJ; twenty-one grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
