Obituary of Mary Lasher

Mary (McGrath) Lasher, age 88, died on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born and raised in Plainfield, she had resided in North Plainfield before moving to Bridgewater in 1973. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed bird watching and volunteering at the Villa Maria in North Plainfield. She was a member of St. Mary's RC Church in Plainfield. Survived by her loving husband Duncan; her son James D. Lasher and his wife Maria. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church in Watchung.
