Obituary of Maribeth M. Smith

Maribeth Smith, age 49, died on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. She was born in Detroit, MI and had lived in Basking Ridge for 24 years. Maribeth received her Bachelor's Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was employed as a Realtor for Keller Williams and Business Systems Analyst for United Health Care. Maribeth was a member of St. James Church and the President of the Ridge Rebound Club. Her life centered around her children and her husband and she would do anything for them. Surviving are her husband, William Smith; her son, Jack Smith; her daughter, Jessica Smith; her parents, Joan and George Dudley; her brother, Paul Dudley and his wife, Jennifer; her sisters, Julia McCarthy and Kathryn Szary and her husband, David; her sisters-in-law, Catherine Niemeyer, Lorraine LaMorte and Diane Smith and her brother-in-law, Bruce Smith. A Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 13th from 3 to 8 p.m. at St. James Church in Basking Ridge. Friends and family are invited to meet at the chapel on Tuesday, July 14th at 9:30 a.m followed by a 10:00 a.m. Memorial Mass.
