Obituary of Carol Ann Cerillo

Carol Ann (Genard) Cerillo, age 71, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at her home in Warren. Born in Plainfield, she spent most of her life in Warren. Carol owned and operated the Wicker Carriage Antique Shop in Basking Ridge and Sweet Street Shop in Clinton for many years. She also worked for many years as a home health aide with Visiting Angels. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling and the Jersey Shore. Carol loved spending time with her daughters, grandsons and her dogs. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph Cerillo in 2013. She is also predeceased by her brother, Alexander Genard, Jr. in 2014. Surviving are her four daughters Kelly Capurso and her husband Vito, Jill Winnicki, Gia Mia Wenzel and her husband Rick and Dina Cerillo-Portik; five grandsons Marco, Carlo, Zachary, Jake and Tristan and her sister-in-law, Barbara Genard. She is also survived by her two nephews, T.J. and Billy. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ. The Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Cremation is private.
