Obituary of Jean W. Erber

North Plainfield: Jean W. Erber, age 86, died on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Haven Hospice in Edison. She was born in Plainfield and was a life long North Plainfield resident. Mrs. Erber was a graduate of the Berkeley School of Business. She was a member of the Hydewood Park Baptist Church in North Plainfield and Washington Park Historical Society. Mrs. Erber enjoyed history and family vacations. Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary for Central New Jersey Cardiology in South Plainfield. Mrs. Erber is predeceased by her husband, William. Surviving are her sons, James A. Erber and David W. Erber and his wife, Laura; her brother, Donald Gardiner; her grandchildren, Keith, Lindsay, Jonathan, Bethany, Kristin and Timothy and her great-grandchildren, Adison, Gavin, Mackenzie, Danielle and Riley. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd from 9 to 11 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by an 11 am funeral service. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
