Obituary of Elaine Jewell

Elaine (nee Kriznansky) Williams Jewell passed on to eternal rest on October 27, 2015. Elaine was born in Elizabeth and raised in Cranford, New Jersey. She attended St. Michael's Elementary School in Cranford, Mother Seton Regional High School in Clark for two years and Cranford High School, Cranford, for the last two years of her high school education. She attended and received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky. She also graduated from The College of William & Mary School of Law, Williamsburg, Virginia. In her professional life she served 35 years with the State of Florida, District Court of Appeals. Elaine is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Lee, and three sons, David, Steven and Robert Jewell. Also surviving Elaine are her sister, Lynn Franklin, and brother-in-law, Thomas Franklin of Watchung, NJ. Elaine will be missed by other cousins, relatives, co-workers and friends. Elaine always strove to make this world a better place. Her charitable efforts toward others will be sorely missed. Arrangements are by Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, New Jersey, 07069. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:30 PM.
