Obituary of Margaret P. Hennessy

Margaret P. "Pat" (Carroll) Hennessy age 90, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison. Born in Newark, Pat was part of a military family that took them to all parts of the United States including two tours in Germany. Pat has lived in Somerset for the past twenty-one years. Prior to retiring in 2010, Pat worked as a Telephone Operator for Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights for many years. Pat was a member of Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough. In her spare time she loved collecting all types of things especially Teddy Bears. Predeceased by her husband Walter J. Hennessy in 1979. Surviving are her two children James M. Hennessy and Maureen Wadiak and her husband David. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 13th at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of God Church, Hillsborough. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
