Obituary of Linda E. Hess

Linda Hess Winter Springs FL; Linda Hess, age 70, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday August 4, 2017 at the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs. Born in Manhattan NY, Linda had resided in Gainesville , Miami before moving to Winter Springs over thirty years ago. Linda received her bachelor's degree in education from Monmouth University in New Jersey. She began her teaching career a private school in Miami and later taught math at Milwee Middle School in Longwood for close to two decades. She finished out her career teaching at Indian Trails Middle School in 2008. Linda was a member of the Mayflower Descendants and the Daughters of the Revolutionary War. She loved sewing and cooking but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Linda is predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years David William Hess in 2006. She is survived by two daughters Tiffany Elizabeth Hess of Longwood and Krystle Helena Hess of Winter Springs. The funeral service was held on August 10, 2017 at 10 am at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ and the burial is at Old Tennent Cemetery in Englishtown NJ.
