Obituary of Ernest F. Meyers, Jr.

Ernest F. Meyers, Jr., age 87 passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his home in Martinsville.

Born in Watchung to the late Ernest and Emily (Wesley) Meyers.  He married Carol Newman on June 9, 1957.  He was the founder of Blue Ridge Oil Company.

Ernest was a simple Loving man who took pride in his work, family and friends.

Predeceased by his sister, Alene Gary and Anne Capobianco.

Survived by his wife, Carol; children Lisa Conrad and her husband Russell of South Plainfield, Jeffrey Meyers and his wife Cindy of Green Brook and Gary Meyers of Warren Twp.; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his sister Catherine Eustice and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren.  Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
