Obituary of Frank Santanella

Frank Santanella, age 69, died on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Frank moved to Holbrook, LI where he lived from 1971-1976. He then went on to live in Millington from 1977-1994 and most recently has resided in Warren. Frank was Vice President of New Penn Motor Express with major responsibilities in South Kearny, Maspeth and Puerto Rico. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, especially the New York Yankees and Jets. He loved traveling, including trips to Italy and Ireland. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his beloved wife, Denise Santanella; his sons; Louis and his wife, Cathy, Frank and his wife, Mary Ellen and James and his wife, Sheri; his daughter, Danielle; his brother, Dominick and his wife, Adele; his sister, Mary Bavero and her husband, Michael; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Nicholas, Giana and Beck. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by the entombment at St. Teresa of Avila Cemetery in Summit. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
