Obituary of Yige Huang

Yige was born on March 16, 1967 in Bejing. She was the oldest of 3 sisters. Both her parents are retired Medical Doctors in the Air Force. Yige began her education in Blue Sky kindergarten where she loved to sing and dance. As she grows up, she chose Beijing Law College and became an Appellate Judge. In 1993 Yige married Shaojie Wang and the following year for the sake of opportunities, she followed her husband and moved to America to help build a strong future for the family. It was a humbling experience which requires sacrifices, endurance and patience. Yige not just succeeded, but excelled all the hardships. She worked many jobs and propelled herself to finish a Bechelor Degree in Finance from Rutgers University and a Master Degree in Management Information System from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, Yige worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield as an auditor, then worked for Chubbs Insurance as Project Leader until she was sick. It was not the accompllishment that Yige cherished, but was the birth of her son Jeffrey in 1999. The love and joy made a family complete. Churchill once said "Behind every successful man, there is a woman." Yige is that strong, wise woman with noble character that we all know. In the past 4 years since she became sick, Yige has endured endless treatments, sleepless nights and constant pain, yet she never complained. Like a brave soldier she marched on. It is only by the Grace of God on February 21, 2020 our Dear sister Yige was taken to be with The Lord in peace.
