Obituary of Carol Ann Czeluscinski

Carol Anne (Antolik) Czeluscinski, age 80, died on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born and raised in Plainfield, she had lived in Middlesex for fifty-nine years. Carol had been employed as a legal secretary most of her adult life. After retiring she worked at Shop Rite in Watchung for six years. Carol was a member of the Dunellen Woman's Auxiliary of the American Legion. She enjoyed collecting jewelry and pocketbooks in her spare time. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Alvin Paul Czeluscinski in 2002, her ex-husband James H. Erickson in 1993, her son James E. Erickson in 1983, a brother David Diana in 2013 and her son-in-law Harry Herrmann in 2004. Surviving are her daughters Kim Marchie and her husband Garry of Piscataway, Cindy Herrmann of Summit, Tracey Beishke and her husband Tom of High Bridge and Carol Savoca and her husband Carmine of Clark;her daughter-in-law Trina Cordeiro of Manville; her brothers Paul and Doug Antolik; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield, NJ. Funeral services will begin on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11:00 a.m. graveside service at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
