Obituary of Richard Brady Cabot

Richard B. Cabot of Old Bridge passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012. He was born and raised in Scotch Plains, and lived in Freehold before moving to Old Bridge. He was previously employed by Snapple Distributors in Avenel and Prestige Parking in Garwood. Surviving are his children, Lauren and Christian and his former wife, Patricia of Aberdeen; his sisters, Kathy Higgins and her husband Brian of Sea Girt and Carol Capatch of Venice, California and brother, Jeffrey and his wife Yvonne of Uddevalla, Sweden. He is also survived by his step-mother, Edith Capatch of Cedar Grove; step-brother, Gary Villanova and his wife Mary Birmingham of Upper Montclair, and step-sisters, Kathy Papera and her husband Ronald, and Karen Fitzpatrick and her husband Michael of Verona; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6th at 9:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. at our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Donations may be made in his memory to an education fund for his children, Lauren and Christian Cabot, P.O. Box 197, Wickatunk, NJ 07765.
