From 1974 to 1979 we lived across the street from the Cernutos on Farragut Road. Gloria and Nick, Pam and Gary were such good neighbors. I will always remember Christmas morning 1976 and Steve was 2 years old. Santa brought him a Fisher Price grocery cart and Bert and Ernie dolls. He put the dolls in the seat and while in his pjs and bathrobe, he put his boots on and his Pepsi Cola ski cap. It had snowed, but that didn’t stop him. He wanted to show the Cernutos what Santa had brought, and off he trudged across the street.!
Gloria you will be missed by so many. May your family find comfort in memories of all the happy times you shared. May they lessen theirs tears and bring back smiles. Love from my family. Nancy Ryback

Mrs. Cernuto was a class act! Always beautiful and had a smile and a kind word. She never missed a recital for her granddaughter Bettina. And every year I received a Christmas card with lots of love. And Pam would always tell me that she would ask for me and how I was doing. Mrs. Cernuto was a wonderful woman and a good soul. I will miss her. I am sending the entire family my condolences and many prayers for you all at this difficult time. Love you all. Xo

Gloria and I have had a wonderful loving relationship growing up as cousins playing together! In particular, a weekly remembrance when we would walk to her violin teachers' home on Duer Street often in the rain with Gloria holding her violin case and I holding up an umbrella which didn't help very much - I would sit in the living room while she fiddled away her lessons.
Another fun time was when she would come over to my house to ride my bicycle (she didn't have one at the time)!! There where so many other occasions we enjoyed being together that I cannot remember them all. In our later years at weddings, etc. we enjoyed dancing together - Gloria kept up with the latest dances without missing a step. A loving and thoughtful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother - she will be missed by me and everyone who knew her!!!
