Obituary of Daniel Vito Honeymar
Daniel Vito Honeymar, age 37, passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2023, at his home in Martinsville. Born in Somerville, Daniel spent most of his life in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater, a town that he loved.
Daniel graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School in 2004 and attended Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg. He later went on to enroll at the New York Film School in Manhattan.
Daniel began his career in the food and beverage industry first working in banquets. His charm & love of people helped him quickly advance to a server position then later bartending at the Marriott & Bernardsville Inn. Later on, he became more interested in construction working in masonry, & carpentry, but found painting to be what he enjoyed most in the trades. He found his way working for various contractors eventually working for Green Restoration in Warren as a painting contractor.
More importantly than where Daniel went to school and where he worked, we remember Daniel for who he was - a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend. Daniel was an amazing uncle who loved and cared for his niece and nephews deeply, and they deeply cared for him. He would gladly take an intentional tumble just to get a laugh out of them . He was a friend to anyone he came across & truly had no enemies. He was a loyal brother and loving son - his family meant the world to him. Daniel had a deep love for history and was an avid film enthusiast, and overall appreciation of the arts. When people think of Daniel, they will remember his incredible sense of humor, his big personality, and his even bigger heart.
Daniel was larger than life, and he will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his parents Sara Perrotti Honeymar and Peter Honeymar, his brother Peter Honeymar and wife Jennifer, and his brother Joseph Perrotti. Daniel is also survived by his niece Olivia, and his two nephews Alexander and Ryan.
