Obituary of Joan Anne Bennett

Joan Anne Bennett, age 71, of Warren, NJ passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Joan was born on January 24, 1943 in South Plainfield. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Andrew and Anne Burachynski. Joan was a 1961, graduate of South Plainfield High School; she was a secretary for Electrical Industries and later was employed at Burroughs Corp. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Mount in Warren. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, boating with family, sewing, water skiing and attending street rod shows and events. Joan is survived by her husband of 48 years, Geoffrey P. Bennett, her daughter Tracy A. Bennett, brother Andrew Burachynski and his wife. Joan had many uncles, aunts, cousins and nieces too numerous to list. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16th, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Interment will follow at Springdale United Methodist Cemetery, Warren. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
