Obituary of Antonette B. Jannotto

Antonette B. Jannotto, age 96, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Maplewood home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was born and raised in Bristol, RI and lived in Brooklyn , Queens and Florida before moving back to NJ. Mrs. Jannotto was a former Communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren. She belonged to the Warren Seniors and volunteered at the Nutrition Site in Warren for 25 years. She was named Volunteer of the Year in Somerset County in 1989 and was honored at a luncheon with Governor Tom Kean. Mrs. Jannotto was an avid baker and she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Jannotto in 1983. Survivng are her daughter, Rosetta Jannotto and her husband, Alan Weiser and many nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be on Monday, October 20th from 9 to 11 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Barnabas Health Hospice 95 Old Short Hills Road West Orange, NJ 07052 or to the American Heart Association, Founder's Affiliate PO Box 417005 Boston, MA.
