I taught Sunday School at First Congregational Church with Brooke Gardiner, Beth's husband, in 1980's. We became fast friends, sharing wifes' names and many, many good times, dinners and events. We went to their vacation home in the Poconos stayed there for several nights. We even went to the Pennsylvania shooting places and fish hatcheries with Thomas, our son, and Jamie Loughrey, a member of First Congregational Church. Beth was a splendid hostess and she made you feel like it was your home. She was a wonderful person and I bet her sons are very proud of her and that she was their mother.
