Obituary of Dorothea C. Hodgdon

Dorothea (Creveling) Hodgdon, age 88, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Brandywine Assisted Living in Bridgewater. Born in New Jersey, she was raised in Englewood, and had resided in Warren since 1965, most recently living in Bridgewater. Dorothea was a graduate of the Berkeley Secretarial School in New York City. Prior to retiring Dorothea worked for the Somerville Inn in Somerville for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. Predeceased by her husband James Hodgdon in 2011. Surviving are her children Richard Hodgdon and his wife Marisa, Robert Hodgdon and his wife Donna, Carol Fitch and her husband Gary, Pamela Lettorale and her husband Tony and Linda Rose and her husband Jeff; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with one on the way. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by entombment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 7th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
