Obituary of John T. R. Smith

John T. Smith laid to rest January 24, 2015 was born June 17, 1981 in Livingston, NJ to Celeste L. Smith and Denene R. Smith, raised in Newark NJ, later moved to Edison, NJ and graduated from Morganville school in Morganville, NJ. John leaves behind his mother Celeste L. Smith-Bishop, father Denene R. Smith, step father Norman Bishop, sister Dannielle Smith, brother Christopher L. Smith (deceased) step sisters Norma Bishop and Jean-Rose Bishop, step brothers Jonathan and Norman Bishop Jr, nieces Christyle Smith, Yahaira, Madison-Jade, Alana, Autum, Allison, nephews Christopher Smith, Jonathan and Noah. John has left behind many close friends/brother, Damion Moses, Damian Almeida, Larry Bowe, Tamaine Calloway and Salaim Nelson from childhood. John also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many many close friends. John was always smiling, had a very loving heart and very open towards his family and friends about how much he loved them. He will be deeply missed. Services will be held at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Visitation will be on Friday, January 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
