Obituary of Yolanda Ianniello

Yolanda (Tuccillo) Ianniello, age 88, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at her home in Bridgewater. Born in Naples, Italy, she moved with her family to Brooklyn in 1954, where she resided for over twenty-five years before moving to Warren and most recently Bridgewater. Yolanda was a wonderful Chef, who shared her talent for cooking with many others while working in the family restaurant in Somerville. She was the quintessential Italian mother and grandmother to her family. A fun loving and vivacious woman who loved family gatherings and holidays. She was adored and cherished by family and friends and will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her husband Aniello Ianniello in 2008. Surviving are her children Anthony Ianniello and his wife Dawn, Helen Mitrani and her husband Joseph and Jennifer Guzman; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Jennifer, John, Yolanda, Gabriela, Aniello and Aniello; great-grandchildren Aniello and Joseph; her brother Fernando Tuccillo. Funeral services will be on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 1:00-3:00 & 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
