Obituary of Luise Poulin

Luise Elizabeth Poulin of Warren, NJ died on February 21, 2015, at Center for Hope in Scotch Plains, NJ. Mrs. Poulin was born on April 7, 1929 in Gladbeck, Germany. She was the daughter of Johann and Maria Daniels. She moved to New Jersey from Germany in 1958 to marry Norman A. Poulin. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, seasonal displays and volunteered at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ for 12 years. She is survived by her husband of 56 years; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Don Yacus of Hillsborough, NJ; daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Joe Laferrera of Sudbury, MA; and her two granddaughters Julia and Sarah Laferrera. Arrangements are by Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday February 25 at 10:00 at Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church 157 S. Triangle Road, Hillsborough, NJ. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Center for Hope Hospice, Peggy Coloney House, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ.
