Obituary of Clifford McCoy

Clifford L. McCoy, age 41, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Somerset Medical Hospital at Somerset. Born and raised in Plainfield, he was a lifelong resident. Clifford was a graduate of Plainfield High School. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan and enjoyed music and joking around with family and friends. A loving son, brother, uncle and friend always with a smile. Surviving are his parents Thomas McCoy (Ernestine) and Shelia Harris; siblings Shonda McCoy, Richard (Kira) Harris, Latonya McCoy and two God sisters Tamika (Jayson) Pennington, Crystal Williams-Newton; many nieces and nephews; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home Plainfield, a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns Baptist Church Scotch Plains Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
