Obituary of Frank Gabriel Pantone

Frank G. Pantone, age 95, died on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Pantone had resided in Kearney most of his life before moving to Warren in 2004. Prior to his retirement Mr. Pantone owned and operated his own barber shop in Jersey City. He was a past member of St. Stephen's RC Church in Kearney. He enjoyed classical music and played the violin, in his youth he even performed at Carnegie Hall. He is predeceased by his wife Mary (Mino) Pantone in 1984, a brother Vito Pantone, three sisters Madeline Pantone, Frances Szymanski and Mildred Vecchione. He is survived by his sister-in-law Lucy Wolfe, a niece Madeline P. Vyas and her husband Brijesh of Warren and their two daughters Tara and Maya Vyas; a nephew Robert Pantone and his wife Kelly of Berkeley Heights and their children Jesse Nelson and Guiliana Pantone. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
