Obituary of Loretta Elizabeth Gall

Loretta Elizabeth Gall, age 82, died on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was born in Elizabeth and had lived in Garwood and Colonia before moving to Warren 49 years ago. Mrs. Gall was the valedictorian from Springfield High School. She was a Realtor for Viola Becker Real Estate and a sales associate for Way of the Arrow, a Native American Jewelry Store. Mrs. Gall was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid reader, seamstress and a loving cook. She is survived by her loving life partner of 32 years, Paul Horowitz; her daughters, Elizabeth Mirbach of Warren, Susan Hoffman and her husband, Arthur of Somerset and Barbara Sako and her husband, Steven of Rosewell, GA and her sister, Dolores Goodger of PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Karen DeBellis and her husband, John, Lauren Caparoso and her husband, Jason, Judith Mirbach, Michelle Ten Eyck and her husband, David, Robert Hoffman and Steven Sako and his wife, Ku'ulei and her great grandchildren, Massimo, Gabriella, Madeline, Kahea and Kehaulani. Funeral services will begin on Monday, November 19th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a 10:00 am funeral service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bound Brook. Cremation is private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
