Obituary of Frances Romeo

Frances Romeo, 83, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hillsborough. Born in Brooklyn, she resided in South Plainfield and Dunellen before moving to Hillsborough three years ago. Frances was a railroad clerk for NJ Transit for over 30 years, prior to retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield and loved visiting the shore. Surviving are two sons, Eugene and his wife, Denise of Bridgewater and Christopher and his wife, Marie of Green Brook; five grandchildren, Catherine, Rebecca, Marisa, Paul and Natalie and a niece, Elizabeth Zampella. Services will be conducted privately. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
