Obituary of Roger Borchert

Born November 14, 1961, and living on his terms to December 10, 2012 in Watchung and North Plainfield, NJ, Roger was the son of the late William and Inge Borchert. He is survived by his precious daughter Emma, his sister Susan, and a boatload of close friends, including his previous wife, Michelle. A graduate of Watchung Hills Regional, Roger started working with his father and then proprietor of Borchert & Son Home Improvements for over 40 years; specializing in quality roofing and siding work throughout Watchung and surrounding areas. Besides his daughter, his passions included his cars (with fond memories of his green Satellite and Grand National), his Harley, and guitar-geared music. Visitation will be held at Higgins Funeral Home, 752 Mountain Boulevard in Watchung on Saturday, December 15th, from 1-2 pm with a 2 pm. service. There will be a gathering of friends thereafter. It fell short for him, but his huge heart never failed others.
