Obituary of William Brotman

Scotch Plains: William Brotman, age 90, died on Friday, November 05, 2004 at the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in Poland, Mr. Brotman had lived most of his life in Plainfield before moving to Scotch Plains 18 years ago. He was a member and President of the United Orthodox Synagogue in Plainfield, and also an avid reader. Mr. Brotman is survived by his wife, Gertrude Blaustein Brotman; two sons, Robert Brotman of Scotch Plains and Stephen Brotman of Livingston; and two granddaughters Jennie and Jill Brotman. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 7th at 10 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield with Rabbi Moshe Samber officiating. Interment will be in Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
