Obituary of Mary A. Bivona

Beachwood: Mary A. Anastasi Bivona, age 85, died on Saturday, November 06, 2004 in the Meridian Nursing Center in Brick. Born in New York to the late Dominic and Mary Giunta Anastasi, Mrs. Bivona lived most of her life in South Plainfield before moving to Beachwood three years ago. She was a former communicant of St. Marys RC Church in Plainfield. Mrs. Bivona is predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Bivona in 1983. She is survived by her four daughters, Philomena Bengivenga of Beachwood; Mary Ann Johnson of Womelsdorf, PA; Prudence Di Paolo of North Plainfield and Barbara Jo Naylor of South Plainfield. Six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also a devoted companion, Dominick Stambo. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 10th at 10 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Interment will be at Saint Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
