We are neighbors from Stiles Road and wanted to extend our condolences. Mr. Mueller was always so kind to my children and dog when he would walk around the block. He told storied about his vacations in Wildwood and we even stayed at the same hotel that your family had. He always had a smile and was whistling a tune. I still can see him riding his bike with his earphones on. He really seemed to enjoy the neighborhood. Sorry to hear for your loss.

My father (Gordon Grau) and I delivered milk out of Cranford, NJ under the name "Riverside Farms", and I fondly recall crossing paths everyday with Henry on his milk truck, and the name "Mueller" on the mailbox on Springfield Avenue..Since Hank was born in 1931, I am assuming that the Henry we used to see was his father, and I see a definite resemblance in the picture of him.......His father too was always smiling and making jokes.......He and my father would trade containers of heavy cream or half and half or eggs if one or the other's daily inventory was short....My sincerest condolences to the family..My father passed away at the age of 79 in 1998.......

What we will remember and already miss:
The daily flag ritual-----checking the yard, always with clippers, watering can or a rake in hand-----his walking stick and bike.
A ride down the "mountain" on a snowy day to get to work-----lifting Buddy into the car for his frequent trips to the vet----his enjoyment of the fish (no matter what it was) when the fishermen came back from a trip-----He loved our flower's and always had praise for Richie's gardens and thought they should be featured in a magazine (ha!)
He always seemed happy and content with his home, family and life and I know his star is shining bright in the night sky!

As our candle tender--pouring the oil into the candle receptacles--for years, Hank ensured the worship candles would shine brightly.
This was his way--to encourage a great shining not only before us, but in our eyes.
As I sat and looked into the eyes of his grandchildren, the light shining there let me know there is a great connection between this quiet task at church and the love he poured into his family.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family. If my memory serves me, Mr. Mueller was my first, little league baseball coach back in the early 1970's and we all grew up together in the neighborhood.

Dear Caroline,
John and I were saddened to learn of Hank's passing. He was such a fun loving vibrant man who truly enjoyed life to the fullest. His love for you and all family members was so evident and he was so very proud of everyone's accomplishments. We will always remember our yearly get togethers at Ft. Myers Beach where much reminiscing took place.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Wow!!!!! Sixty years of marriage!!!
Love,
Joan and John

Hank Mueller had such a friendly personality and he loved kids. I remember once when we were at a first holy communion and all the adults where in the church, but Hank was outside, with the kids, rolling down a big grassy hill with a huge grin on his face and a louder than Santa Clause belly laugh.
I will always remember his smile, his joking around and his determination to have a good time!
We are all unique but Hank Mueller was truly, one of a kind. He will be missed!
